About Me

Hello, I’m Hannah, a Theatre Designer currently based in Scotland. In 2020 I graduated from Arts  University Bournemouth with a BA (hons) Costume and Performance Design. I specialised in scenography and practised many skills including set and costume design, prop making, basic set building, set decorating for film, scenic art, Photoshop, technical drawing by hand and AutoCAD. Previously I completed a HND Costume for Stage and Screen at Edinburgh College.

During university, I found a love of devised and collaborative projects and look forward to finding work in thought-provoking immersive productions. I’m inspired to find ways of exploring modern and traditional storytelling techniques together in the theatre. I love to incorporate playful, vibrant, and dynamic aspects into my designs an I am often inspired by children’s play spaces and creating theatre in unexpected places. Through experience, I enjoy the challenge of creative problem solving, especially in finding innovative and effective set transitions.

I am available for design work, assisting and any general help needed in theatre, film, tv and visual art. I hope to connect especially with early career performance makers or companies who strive for accessibility.
